ISO CERTIFICATION GUARANTEES SAFE, RELIABLE, AND LONG LASTING PRODUCTS
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) provides world-class product standards, ensuring quality, safety, and dependability. Behr Enterprises complies with ISO standards, ensuring maximum productivity and reaching new markets. Our products are manufactured with safe materials, ensuring the safety of your company and customers. We do not use any toxic substances either, minimizing negative environmental impacts.
STATE-OF-THE-ART METAL FABRICATION MACHINES
At Behr Enterprises, we use machinery that can keep up with the demands of our business associates and partners. We have made the investments, because we know they justify themselves. Laser cutting machines are some of the quickest and most accurate machines out there. Cuts made with lasers need almost no finishing processes when the initial cuts are done. Even so, we can do that one-up. Water jet cutting is so clean and effective that the metal needs ABSOLUTELY ZERO FINISHING work done to it after the cut. That means no buffing or polishing, because cuts made with water jets leave no burrs or rough edges. Our metal forming equipment is also great. It bends the most precise angles, applying just the right amount of force in just the right temperature environment to make sure the forming process doesn’t compromise the integrity of the material we’re working with. We know metals.
WELDING SERVICES FOR A VARIETY OF NEEDS
Different welding techniques are required for different applications. MIG, TIG, and spot welding all have their uses, but only an experienced welder will know what welding procedure is ideal for your specific situation. Whatever your welding needs are, you can count on Behr Enterprises’ skilled welders to choose the right technique, getting your metal fabrication job done right the first time. Our welding shop can easily accommodate both single-run custom welds and large quantity metal fabrication orders. Trust Behr Enterprises for all of your welding needs, you will be impressed with the quality and fast turnaround of our work.
MIG WELDING: IDEAL FOR LONG WELDS AND SHEET METAL
When you need long pieces of sheet metal welded together, MIG welding is the way to go. MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding is great for producing long, uninterrupted welds on carbon steel. The MIG welding process can weld sheet metal of almost any thickness in a variety of configurations extremely quickly. A big advantage of MIG welding is the lack of slag and minimal spatter on the finished product. Welders of almost any experience level can use MIG welding techniques, but Behr Enterprises’ welders know there are shortcomings to MIG welding. Stainless steel and aluminum are both very hard to weld using MIG welding. Professional welding shops will choose other welding methods for these metals. The ability to make long welds comes at a cost and precision welds are not recommended for MIG welding. You can count on Behr Enterprises’ welding service to use the right welding method for your welding and fabrication needs.
TIG WELDING FOR STRONG, PRECISE WELDS
Strong, clean, precision welds are the hallmark of TIG welding. The pen-shaped TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding mechanism lets Behr Enterprises’ welders achieve complicated weld patterns easily and without leaving behind ugly marks on the finished product. Slag is almost non-existent and the resulting bond is extremely strong. Aluminum, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metals are all easily welded with TIG welding. Performance this good does have a few drawbacks: learning the TIG welding technique takes a lot of time and practice, the welding process is slow, and TIG welding equipment is very expensive. These factors combined make experienced TIG welders a valuable commodity in most welding shops. The professional welders required to perform TIG welding can be found at Behr Enterprises, ready and waiting to provide the strong, precision welds you need.
SPOT WELDING: FAST BONDS FOR LARGE PRODUCTION RUNS
Large welding and fabrication runs are achieved with spot welding. Hundreds of spot welds can be achieved in a very short amount of time on a variety of metals. Different metals can be spot welded in a variety of thicknesses. Speed comes at the price of strength, though the fast, shallow welds are not particularly strong, limiting the use of spot welding to low-impact applications. Behr Enterprises has spot welding equipment to provide your business with hundreds of welds quickly and easily. No matter what you need welded, trust the welding and fabrication experts at Behr Enterprises to provide the best results by using the right technique.
INDUSTRIAL CUTTING SERVICES FOR METAL FABRICATION
Industrial-scale metal cutting and fabrication can be accomplished with laser and water jet technology. These two techniques should not be compared against each other, but viewed as different ways of accomplishing the same goal under different circumstances. Both are excellent metal cutting implements with strengths and weaknesses. Behr Enterprises has both laser and water jet cutters, allowing our metal fabricators to offer the right solution for any and all metal fabrication needs.
LASER CUTTERS: PERFECT FOR FAST, PRECISE METAL SHAPING
A large order of precision cut, medium-thickness steel is an ideal job for a laser. Lasers can cut metal up to 5/8” thick at extremely fast speeds. High quality cuts with minimal burring and a small amount of splatter are achieved even when cutting rapidly. Turnaround time between order placement and completion is very short, and there is minimal preparation and clean-up required.
How is this possible? Easy. Most everything included in setup is computer operated. The manual labor is reduced, dramatically lowering the chances of human error. Machines don’t get fatigued. Machines don’t get mad at their coworkers. Machines don’t have emotions impairing their function. Machines don’t get distracted consistently providing high quality finished products.
Laser cutting is an extremely efficient way to cut sheet metal and metal blanks at a very high rate. Curves and angles are no problem, making lasers an excellent choice for custom metal fabrication orders. Behr Enterprises has the machines and experienced technicians to handle any laser cutting order. As powerful as lasers are, there are certain cuts they cannot achieve. Thick, deep cuts are beyond the ability of a laser, as are any reflective materials. The heat generated by a laser can warp and damage a work piece as well, making certain materials dangerous to cut with lasers. Whatever your metal fabrication needs, count on Behr Enterprises to use the cutting equipment ideal for your needs and to provide the best service.
WATER JET CUTS WHAT LASERS CAN’T
Very thick metals, reflective materials, and heat-sensitive surfaces are all cut to high standards with water jet cutting machines. Behr Enterprises can even cut rubber, plastic, foam, and glass with its water jet cutters. Using a stream of water with dissolved abrasives, water jet cutting machines can cut to almost any depth in almost any material. Even 6” titanium is no match for a water jet cutting machine. The finished cut is extremely smooth and is considered a finished edge with no burring or dross waste. Water jet processes generally give better results than lasers, but the metal fabricators at Behr Enterprises have the experience and necessary knowledge to choose the best cutting method for your needs.
One of the most interesting aspects of water jet cutting is the angles at which it can cut. Water jet cutting can cut at almost any angle you can imagine. This ability makes it one of our favorite methods, and produces some of favorite pieces that we’ve sent out to customers.
Cutting with a water jet is a long, slow process. Lasers can cut several times faster than a water jet through similar thicknesses of metal. Water jets also require a bit more set-up and cleaning than lasers, making them slightly less efficient. Behr Enterprises has the machines and the skilled staff to cut any material in any quantity you need.

QUALITY WORKMANSHIP REDUCES INEFFICIENCIES
The press brakes at Behr Enterprises are engineered to be some of the most precise metal forming machines in the business. Precision is important in any industry, especially metal fabrication. We’re able to create shorter lead times and reduce our waste because of how precise our machines and their operators are. Time and time again, they make the perfect bends, taking into consideration the temperature of the environment, how quickly the material is being bent, and how much pressure they will need to utilize in order for the bend to be plastic. If you need metal forming services, Behr Enterprises is your best option. We care about the customers and the quality of the products we deliver to them.
It’s not hard to see why water jet cutting services in Wisconsin provide measurable and profitable results. Delivering fast and accurate cuts through virtually any material, water jet cutting has become the preferred metal cutting option for most metal fabricators.
Water Jet Cutting Machines Delivering Accurate Cuts and Measurable Results
There are several components contributing to the success of water jet cutting machines. The controller, motion system, and catch tank play minor, but important roles while the nozzle, pump, and abrasive delivery system do the manual labor of cutting your desired material.
As you would imagine with the use of water, there is no heat generated. So there is no warping, distortion, or melting of the metal during cutting. Kerf width is tiny. Very little material is wasted, much less than laser cutting. You won’t need finish sanding or grinding. There aren’t any rough edges or burrs. With no heat created, the basic composition of the metal being cut is unaffected. The clean finish is not compromised. It’s a smooth, clean, accurate process.
Water jet cutting is also extremely flexible. Using this process allows you to easily cut in virtually any direction. Sharp corners, precise holes, bevels – you name it, we can cut it. Any shape can be processed, even three-dimensional objects.
ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE CUTTING PROCEDURES
Not only is it effective, water jet cutting is also environmentally friendly. No dust or particles are produced, making it safer for the operator as well.
Water jet cutting does not burn harmful chemicals or release noxious fumes into the atmosphere, either inside or outside of the building. The extra metal scraps being fabricated are washed away with the excess water into a collection tank we then dispose of properly.
We believe in companies have a responsibility to the community they are in. It’s everyone’s duty to keep the area that they occupy clean and healthy, so future generations can enjoy the benefits of the land and air as much as we have. Water jet cutting makes this a more attainable reality.
Water Jet Cutting Capabilities Go Beyond the Specifics of the Process
The water jet cutting process is so precise it can cut light gauge steel with extreme accuracy. Yet the water jet cutting system is so powerful it can cut through metal up to 10” thick. Wisconsin water jet cutting services provided by Behr can cut a multitude of materials, from stone, glass, and concrete to metals, hard alloys, composites, and reflective materials. Whether you need a onetime specialty titanium piece cut or the mass production of stainless steel pieces, Behr’s metal fabricators provide drop everything service getting your products to you with quick turnaround.
No wonder water jet cutting is the fastest growing metal fabrication process in Wisconsin. No one has done more research or more comprehensively perfected the process than the metal fabrication experts at Behr Enterprises. Water jet cutting has become one of our most popular and in-demand features. Behr also is your reliable source for laser cutting, welding, metal forming, stainless steel fabrication, polishing, assembly, and almost any type of custom metal fabrication services.
STAINLESS STEEL PROVIDES FACILITIES WITH DURABLE COUNTERTOP AND CABINET SOLUTIONS
Medical facilities are reputable for their cleanliness and sterilized environments. Every hospital, surgical center and health facility has turned to stainless steel as the main surface material throughout the building. From the tools the doctor’s use, the sinks and tables to the food preparation setup in the kitchen are all made of stainless steel – a durable alloy resistant to rusting, chipping and bacteria.
Stainless steel allows hospitals to be quick and thorough in their preparation and cleanup of surfaces both prior to or following exposure to potentially hazardous agents. Stainless steel is ubiquitous in the medical field because of its myriad useful properties. It’s so durable, stainless steel appliances have a life expectancy of nearly a century. It doesn’t warp due to temperature extremes or humidity making it the ideal material for use in hospitals.
QUICK AND EASY DISINFECTING
Stainless steel is non-porous, meaning it is impermeable to air and fluids. If it comes into contact with hazardous materials, which are frequently found in medical facilities, the stainless steel surface can be wiped off with a heavy duty anti-bacterial cleaning products to quickly and thoroughly disinfect the contaminated surface.
Stainless steel does not rust due to the 10.5% chromium in its alloy composition and it’s highly durable. Many of the structural implants like pins, screws, and plates which are used during surgery are also stainless steel, due to the durability and rust-resistant properties.

SCHOOL AND RESTAURANT STAINLESS STEEL FABRICATION
Restaurants and schools are very much alike. Without vigorous maintenance, both become ideal breeding grounds for unwanted bacteria and hazardous germs. For easy cleaning and maintenance, both restaurants and schools turn to stainless steel backsplashes and countertops.
STAINLESS STEEL HELPS PREVENT FOOD POISONING
Restaurants use stainless steel countertops as the preferred surface to prepare all of their food items. This may be one of the most important aspects to a kitchen’s speed and efficiency. Stainless steel is non-porous, which means the cooks can clean up any mess—chicken juice, raw beef residue, raw egg and other potentially dangerous ingredients—with ease. The bacteria is not able to seep into the material and infect other foods prepared on the same surface.
A quick once-over with anti-bacterial chemicals leaves the surface ready for the next dish to be prepared. The knives used by chefs to chop, flay, julienne and dice food are also tend to be stainless steel. This is due to the anti-rust properties of stainless steel; the surfaces of the knives won’t warp even in temperature and humidity extremes.
STAINLESS STEEL SCHOOL SURFACES
In schools, stainless steel surfaces can be found in a wide range of places. Science classrooms often have stainless steel tables in their labs. Distracted students playing with corrosive chemicals is not a good recipe for maintaining the composition of most countertop materials. Stainless steel resists corrosion due to the 10.5% chromium necessary in this alloy for it to be called stainless steel. Even if Bunsen burners tip over, set something on fire and continue to fuel the blaze, the properties of the tabletop will not change. Science classes don’t have to endure costly tabletop replacements nearly as often as they used to – stainless steel has a life expectancy of nearly a century.
School lunchrooms also use stainless steel for their food preparation and easy cleanup. Students tend to be careless when eating in the cafeteria, leading to incredible messes. Stainless steel backsplashes and sinks are great for cleaning dishes. Simply hose down the sink and backsplash, when cleaning is completed; ushering all the particles down the drain. Store all the cleaned pots, pans, and trays in stainless steel cabinets, and you’re done. Bacteria no longer have a place to feed and procreate, thanks to stainless steel.
STAINLESS STEEL SINKS IN SCHOOLS
Sinks get a lot of daily use, from washing your hands to washing off raw chicken – a sink is an integral part of any facility. Stainless steel sinks are up to the challenges of rigorous daily use.
Stainless steel has antiseptic properties and a non-porous composition, making it a clean, sanitary option for hospitals and medical facilities, where contact with unexpected biohazards isn’t uncommon. Stainless steel is super easy to disinfect, and can be cleaned very easily as well.
